Truth hurts,shorten the time for a lie,but its for a greater good
But the weird thing is,the meaning and effect it gives to every individual and at every different moment changes depending on the situation or the important-ness of the individual.No doubt,everyone has done either of those things be it to the people they hate or love.And it’s wrong to say or even assume that truth is better than lie or truth is good,lies are evil.Actually,it is neither good nor bad.Neither right nor wrong either.Take for example,the one you love,lets call him or her ‘Unknown’,is about to die in an hour.Do you tell Unknown the truth,providing temporary happiness but emotionally damages him because of Unknown’s grief knowing that it cannot be there for you as it is about to die.Or,do you lie to it,leaving no expectation,no reason,no explanation,without ever knowing the truth so that so that he wouldn't feel bad for leaving anything or anyone behind and may rest in peace.Though,the only one that has to suffer is you yourself.Is one really better than the other?Nobody can really clarify the better of these choices,really.Both are neither selfish nor selfless.It is selfish and selfless also,actually.
Lies.It is such a miserable word.Everybody hates it,despises it,sometimes even curses and criticises it.No,it was never something negative or even,bad.Lies are necessary for the balance between the happiness and grief or an individual.Lies result may result in temporary happiness,but a live-long grief.For example,if one has a friend who is considered an obese.Is it better to lie?And say that his or her size is fine,they are who the are.Which results in him,having a heart attack or high blood cholesthrol ,basically health problems in the future.Or,don't lie,and encourage him or her that it is not wise to keep that lifestyle and to make a change.No it’s not being mean to judge a person that you care.You just care for his or her health and isn’t that a good thing?In situation like these,yes,lies may seem like villain.But sometimes,when one doesn’t want to worry anyone,he lies.He lies forever because that is all he needs to bare and he bare it himself without anyone having to feel the pain.And how is that bad?Although,you may indicate both selfishness and selflessness in that.

Truths.Everybody loves you,truth.They adore you,sometimes even begging for you from others.But everytime the truth ain’t pretty,they betray you and say the truth is hurtful.Often happens,you might be surprise.Everyone says,”I prefer being told the truth,rather than being lied to”.Don’t take words so lighty.The truth is a lethal weapon capable enough to kill anyone.Some people,because of the truth,that their wife or girlfriend doesn’t love them anymore,kill themselves .And they label lies as the ‘villain’.Sometimes,truth even ruin sacred bonds,like friendship or family issues.So don't live your live deciding whats good and whats not,sometimes it is important to know when to lie.Always remember,we individuals,lie for the ones we love,lie to the ones we love,be truthful to the ones we love and be truthful for the ones we love.Either way,you’ll still be in dilemma of people trusting you or not.People don't trust you because of your lies,some don't trust you because of the truth(eg. You kill someone before).Just remember,to only one in the entire world that we should never lie to,is ourselves.
So,which would you pick: The Gallant Lie or The Ugly Truth?
